About Us

Based at Winnipeg's Richardson International Airport with a reach across the Prairies, NorthWest Ontario and the Territories, Taiga Air Services has a 16-year record that is second to none.  Our piloting staff is expertly trained with many years of experience in all of our major areas of work.  Our internal operating standards exceed all guidelines set out by the Federal government, and we strive to constantly improve our operations.

We maintain our helicopters to the highest level in the country, and our commitment to safety is paramount.  Because of our constant and rigorous maintenance program, our aircraft are available whenever they are needed and have the endurance to work until the project is completed.  Combine this with our superior customer service and satisfaction, and it's easy to see why our customers keep coming back for all of their helicopter support needs.

History
We opened our doors in April of 1991 as a premier air charter service.  Over the past decade and a half, we have continually added expertise in the fields of:  Aerial Photography, Aerial Imagery & Mapping, Fire Scanning and Suppression, Thermal Scanning, and Security & Surveillance.  Due to our diligence and constant striving to stay ahead of our client's needs, we can provide the most efficient solutions across a wide range of industries.  We are constantly striving to find new and innovative applications for our products and services, so that we can continue to provide the best industry-leading service available.

Areas of Operation
Over the years we have expanded our operations to meet our customer's needs, having built a solid reputation that extends throughout Manitoba, NorthWest Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and the Territories.  Our main base of operation is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba with satellite bases in Churchill, Thompson, and Brandon, Manitoba.
