Taiga maintains an inventory of several purpose specific, thermal sensor systems with applications that include power line/pipe line inspection, forest fire management, wildlife surveys, infrastructure management and environmental assessment.
All Taiga sensor operators have achieved a “Certified Thermographer” status with an extensive history of training and experience.
Our thermal inspection sensors are gyro stabilised and capture geo-referenced radiometric images and video. Thermal imagery applications include thermal gradient and geo-referenced mapping and spot measurement of point of interest targets – undetected fire/smoulder, equipment fault/leakage, wildlife, etc.
Sensor payloads are quick release mounted to enable the install, exchange, or removal in minutes permitting exceptional turn-around capabilities and utility of our aircraft and UAVs.
